A disabled Florida woman claims Southwest Airlines staffers refused to aid her in going down a jet bridge in a wheelchair — and that she suffered catastrophic injuries after falling over, court papers state.
The Broward County suit asserts that Gaby Assouline, 24, who suffers from a muscle disease, was traveling from South Florida to Denver in February when she asked for someone to push her wheelchair down the corridor.
The suit contends that a Southwest supervisor at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport declined her request and that she was forced to negotiate the jet bridge on her own.

Poor girl. Today companies hire unqualified workers with big mouths and want high pay for doing half of the job.
Where was her family, caregiver? Unfortunate for her injury but companies have their policies.

I don't know what's going on with people that works for Airlines or any other job their job is to take care and push whoever's on the wheelchair that's alone that is their job not throwing them off of wheelchair and causing injury to them and people should be charged and banned from ever working with any other airlines or any other job that you have to do with people who are on wheelchair or people who are disabled I hope they get 15 years for this because that was on call for didn't do their job right and they cause such an injury I hope someday somebody throw some off would that get injured and see how it feels
