The UK-based Sockshop is sharing the right strategy to fold socks — should you’ve got 20 seconds to spare per pair.
“Organize your sock drawer using this one easy trick,” the shop wrote in a TikTok that has taken off with 1.3 million views because it was posted in May.
“This easy folding hack saves space AND keeps your socks in higher condition for longer.”
The technique involves placing one sock over the opposite to form a cross. Fold each half of the horizontal sock inwards and flip the entire thing over.
Roll the vertical sock into the center and tuck it into the opposite sock.
You ought to be left with a thick square.
The 21-second clip left some social media users feeling defeeted.
“I’ve not got time for that,” one TikToker laughed.
“That appears prefer it takes ages,” one other grimaced.
“I just throw all my socks within the drawer and take out two. They don’t even need to match anymore,” a 3rd declared.
