It apparently just takes 1 / 4 to win the payout of a lifetime.
A bettor at FanDuel Sportsbook bet on a giant game for greater than a dozen NBA and a number of NFL players with a crazy 25-leg parlay.
The chances were nearly 100,000/1, coming in at +9469080, or an implied probability of about 0.00001.
The parlay won the bettor an unbelievable $23,673 off a single 25-cent gamble.
The bettor had 18 different NBA over picks, which included wagers on players’ point totals, three-pointers made, rebounds and assists.
Additionally they added seven plays on last week’s “Thursday Night Football” game between the Steelers and Titans, which saw a detailed call for the bettor.
Titans tight end Chigoziem Okonkwo needed to recover from 2.5 catches and 25 receiving yards to maintain the parlay alive, but by midway through the fourth quarter, he didn’t have a single reception.
Betting on the NBA?
On the ultimate drive, Okonkwo caught three passes from quarterback Will Levis, just barely hitting the over.
There have been a number of near-misses over on the NBA side of the parlay as well.
Killian Hayes (10+ points), John Collins (4+ rebounds), Cade Cunningham (2+ three-pointers made) and Jordan Clarkson (2+ three-pointers made) all hit their over right on the dot.
