It is going to get far worse. The rate of evaporation does not increase linearly with temperature…it increases exponentially. Also, for every 1C inc in global avg temps the humidity of the atmosphere inc by about 7%- this adds an enormous amt of latent heat to the sys. Also, water vapor itself is a greenhouse gas w/ a warming potential 3x that of CO2 over a short period. These facts are primary in understanding what is happening. Of course many other factors affect daily weather. But as we continue to add CO2 and other greehouse gases to the atm the temp of ambient air will inc and the extremes will become more common. Currently the CO2 fertilization effect has ended and forests are now browning hence they burn more readily. This means dry lands will get drier during summers while those regions that ordinarily receive large amts of precipitation will get even more. The hydrological cycle and the large geophysical waves that govern the earth's transfer of heat have been completely perturbed or FUBARED (Fuc$ed Up Beyond All Recognition) by our thoughtless drive to acquire material goods and wealth. We only have about 20 yrs of industrial civiliz as we currently experience it now. The changes we have made to the system cannot be reversed in a time span that is meaningful to us. The rich are the culprits. The top 10% emit 50% of emissions. The rich also believe they will somehow make it out of this bottleneck. They will not. The entire biosphere, although resilient, will be annihilated if we continue on this RCP 8.5 (business as usual pathway). The Earth's max global avg temp based on paleo data is about 23C. That's where we are headed. Searing summer temps will destroy our ability to produce grain at scale and global fisheries will collapse from over fishing, >temp, and acidification. Billions will die this century.

Climate change? A way to implement tax on the people is all the new green deal is, control. Put the carbon back into the earth with correct farming …..not ripping up the earth and letting the top soil blow away. Wood chips, natural grasses, no till farming will take care of the fertilizer problem and water shortages. There is a way, but fixing the problem is not the goal.

So I was in a Starbucks and overheard someone saying: "Yeah man, there's too much CO2 in the atmosphere, we're suffocating the plants." Then I realized these are the "intellectuals" responsible for this reasoning.

I work as a gardener.The change was predicted by me as not global warming.But global snaps.I knew sudden weather snaps.The earth is old and has atmospheric defense's.Cold gets pushed out of place for the first recorded time.Water rise cools more land.Ice melts.And upper atmosphere gets giant new winds.
