President Joe Biden will announce new executive actions to address climate change as his legislative agenda to combat the crisis faced a setback in Congress.
Biden’s actions will include new funding for the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities (BRIC) program to protect communities facing extreme heat. Projects under the program aim to reduce the risks communities face from disasters and natural hazards.

Biden is attacking climate change as a political problem when it is an engineering problem. No one expects politicians to solve an engineering problem. Here is the problem. Reliable power comes from fuels. Fluctuating power comes from alternative power (wind/solar) and makes an unreliable grid. Biden need to put out a public request, asking engineers & scientist to collaborate and come up with alternative green fuels just like they solved the rubber problem in WW2, then fund production of new green fuels. My guess, is that hydrogen fuel could be created from water, combined with CO2 extracted from the air, compressed, turned into liquid methane, which could be used in electrical plants and automotive. Scientist & engineers around the world probably have many other possible solutions. Refocus the country and the world into better fuels.
