During Coastal’s commanding 9-1 victory, one fan’s selfie attempt took an amusing turn, drawing attention from the ESPN+ broadcast and quickly going viral on social media.
With Coastal already leading 5-0 within the third inning, the published cut to the stands and two Chanticleers fans were seen engrossed of their phones, taking selfies.
Broadcasters Patrick Johnson and Mike Mullis were on the case, with Johnson casually remarking, “Selfie time for some Chanticleer fans.”
