From 2009 SOE's have been plundered from the inside out especially eskom. The fleet is old and outdated and not one of the previous CEO's did anything to rectify this, they were part of the plundering. Now for the last 14 years this has been happening. De Ruyters in and after 2 years you expect him to have turned this dieing ship around. Anyone with half a brain and an iota of common sense, will realise that right now, he is the best man for the job. I would not want his job as it his thankless and soul destroying to deal with the ignorant mindset that this country's population has in general. Remember he was the one who fired the procurement officer for inflating prices and has as well fired and suspended many underperforming or thieving members at eskom. Topping that Eskom is not allowed to purchase power due to govt policy. The strikers are striking illegally as Eskom is an essential service. These members should be charged, fired and arrested with immediate effect. They clearly don't want their jobs and are willing to jeopardize the rights of every single South Africa citizen due to their own agendas. Sometimes the people of this country need to get their facts right. If you want to call for real resignation, start with Ramaphosa, the top 6, the NEC and rest of the high up ANC members. They are are sole reason Eskom is in the position it is in now! Wake up people for once.
