Bellingham shared the famous speech on Instagram with the caption: “So happy with the boys tonight, we live to fight one other day.”

The speech, which was delivered in Paris in 1910, read:

“It shouldn’t be the critic who counts; not the person who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them higher.

“… But who does actually strive to do the deeds; who knows great enthusiasms, the nice devotions; who spends himself in a worthy cause.

“Who at the very best knows in the long run the triumph of high achievement, and who on the worst, if he fails, at the least fails while daring greatly, in order that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat.”
