We have enough resources to make wind generators… we can increase wind capacity in the north sea by 100 times, to 450GW hours at an accelerated rate. Hydrogen can be made at 60% efficiency from wind, which is 30% the cost of nuclear… Hydrogen can then be used to power germany's furnaces, instead of coal. When Europe has 50% wind and 50% solar, the electricity will go into new technologies: home hydrogen electrolyses for heating the home, lithium at home… We are paying the price for listening to fossil fuel lobbies. There should be immediat transition to off-shore wind and hydrogen on an industrial scale never seen before the armament of germany in 1938.
