I really thought that the Spurs would never trade Murray but I hope both team benefits. I just hope they get Ayton and never trade Murray 😭
The end of our tank. Thanks Dejounte; best wishes. Our guys will compete better now!
🇧🇿
lmao the guy saying they been rebuilding and are rebuilding again after the trade?
bruh rebuliding teams dont try to make the Play-in/Playoffs every year. they TANK and thats whats finally happening. Spurs fans bout really see how rebuilding a team really goes especially when no free agents will sign to San Antonio
Does murray think this is gonna bring him a chip 😭 ???
Spurs will be trash for the next 4 year
I love when the kid says your favorite player. I mean I don’t even know basketball 🏀. 😂
He wants the best player in the Spurs. 😂😂😂😂 He was good but good luck with him in the future go Spurs Go
I can only presume that Dejounte Murray was not interested in extending his current contract.
Without a long-term commitment from Murray, the Spurs likely opted to trade him for the most that they could get at this point.
Three number-one picks and a player would seem like a pretty good haul, but it remains to be seen who they will get with those picks in future seasons.
Also, will they keep or deal the player, Danilo Gallinari? At 33, Gallinari would not seem to fit into their youth movement. Could be be dealt to another team before the start of next season? That all remains to be seen.
The loss of Murray should drop the Spurs to near the bottom of the NBA West, which means they could be in the running for frenchman Victor Wembanyama, the 7-foot-2 18-year-old, who looks to be the top pick in the 2023 draft.
Yall acting like he's Kobe 😂
Big WIN for the Hawks !
He's another baby Leonard
It all starts with the draft the Spurs had this year 3 first round players all 19 years old. Based on all the media and reports around the league they all have the potential to become ALL STARTS in the next 3 years. Now let's look at the deal the Spurs got for Murray; 4 FIRST ROUND PICKS from Atlanta. A 2023, 2025, 2026, 2027 1ST ROUND PICKS . Murray will become a free agent in 2 years so he can sing back with the spurs in 2025. The Spurs are about to have 2 of the top 15 players from the draft for the next 5 years. Now the Spurs also traded Loonie Walker to the Lakers meaning they are going full tank mode as they would have a better chance to get the 1st pick in the 2023 draft. They are putting all their eggs in one basket and that's VICTOR WEMBANYAMA. Espn calls hims the next generational player after Lebron James. I've been a Spurs fan since I was a kid I also live in San Antonio so I know the Spurs culture and how they operate. They are building around this draft class 3 super starts they just got this year. They know what they’re going and if they are able to draft Victor Wembayama its game over the Spurs are winning every championchip from 2026 to 2030. Spurs are a first class organization.
Unless we get some major players to win, win, and, win some more. The stands may be a little empty this year. It seems they'll give up all the players we drafted in the past 5 or 6 years. No loyalty! Let's face it guys, looks like we're cheap.
“We’re already in a rebuild and now we’re in another rebuild… what’s that about” LEGEND!😂
Murray gonna be on the bench for Trae?
I feel really bad for those little kids and that man
no loyalty.
“I don’t even know basketball dad wtf” 🤣💀
SAS is the best NBA team, rebuilding is not ganna take a long time.
