Foreign ministers from some of world’s top economies are meeting today in Indonesia. On the G-20 agenda are Russia’s war in Ukraine as well as Chinese trade relations: The country’s foreign minister was scheduled to meet his counterpart from Australia – for the first time in three years. The two were expected to discuss Beijing’s unofficial trade embargoes on Australian coal and wine, among other products. China took those steps in reaction to Australian politics deemed critical of Beijing.

Here’s Australia’s foreign minister on how she planned to approach the meeting.

Honestly Australia shouldn't even be in a trade war with China lol
They blindly follow USA foreign policy that serves them no real benefits other than unnecessary clout

Australia did not know that her thrilling economy for the last few decades was because of massive TRADE with China.
Down under bashing China in steps with warmonger US & this brings her economy to current bad stage. She will go down under soon.
Australia re-approach China is not sincere & China shall not let Australia regain her market share.
By the way, ally US steals some of Australia's market.
China does not need Australia just like China does not need US.

Australia is the first country in the world which banned Huawei products without any proven evidence of any wrongdoings of Huawei. Even before the USA. I believe Australia has done this because it is afraid of Australia because too "asian".

If Australia consider China as their military threat, why are they still want to do trading with such "evil" country? 😂😂😂😂😂 How about just do what a "genius" Aussie politician said – sale those red wine to Indonesia LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I would think that China has no natural-rights in or to Australia and if Australia commences business with China, then China will be privileged, but it will not be a Right.

First country to ban Huawei, then QUAD 、AUKUS, buy nuclear submarines… Clearly Australia wants to be an enemy of China even though China only wants trade

To be honest, I think Australia will continue to be Washington's main pawn in Asia and not change anytime soon. It doesn't matter who the Aussie prime minister is. That means the Australia China relation isn't going to change … unless the Aussie Washington boss changes.

Morrison's greatest political legacy is his success in angering xi😂😂xi Restricted imports of iron ore, even to the detriment of Chinese steel mills. xi Prohibit the import of Australian grains and wine. xi even started preparing to garrison the Solomon Islands. But Australia is different from other countries. His economy resembles that of Saudi Arabia. It is difficult for China to stop importing Australia's mineral resources. Last year, due to China's ban on importing Australian coal, power outages occurred in parts of China during the early torrential rains, so this year China continued to import Australian coal.

Australian foreign policy has always been influenced by the United States. A fight between China and Australia would take a toll on the economies of both countries. This is a very bad thing. I hope the relations between China and Australia will be reconciled as soon as possible.

US and the West should respond, with Guam so close to the Philippines, and even Hawaii may be part of the mythical ancient Chinese empire.More so,with China’s push to gain a military foothold over Australia’s closest neighbours.
