Two people died after a boat capsized in the Hudson River in the waters just off of Manhattan, New York City officials said. One of the victims was a 7-year-old boy. Watch officials give an update on the incident.

Why don't they talk about the wakes those big freakin boats make. How the big boats don't care and ride next to you and swamp you with there wake. Maritime law states the the boat operator is responsible for his or her wake!
I was in little island with my family when this happened and we were all saying why are there so many helicopters until dinner one of my family members told me threes people died in a boat accident

This is very disturbing ,Nobody deserves this The boat is NOT for 12 people common sense there need to investigate the people on the boat. Specially the one that was driving it**because people have a tendency to bring alcohol into the boat. There was a child with NO Life jacket why why why❓ nobody’s talking about that❓❓❓because a child passed away and a grandmother passed away.The water is not to be playing with whoever goes on this waters must respect it 🙌🏼It’s the same thing carrying a gun you must respect it. I live facing these waters and I see accidents all the time.
