Nix, 24, was solid against the Indianapolis Colts in his NFL debut, completing 15 of 21 passes for 125 yards and a touchdown.
The rookie entered the sport after two drives from starter Jarrett Stidham, who threw an interception on the team’s second possession.
Nix was listed because the Broncos’ QB3 on the team’s initial depth chart behind the veteran Stidham and former Jets starter Zach Wilson, who will play the 2024 season on the ultimate 12 months of his rookie contract.
