‘Black Adam’ is leading Halloween weekend on the box office

For the second week in a row, “Black Adam” completed a Herculean feat, taking in $7.5 million in sales on Friday, in keeping with IMDB’s Box Office Mojo.

The Dwyane Johnson-led DC Comics adaption dropped down 72% from its $26.8-million opening day last week, in keeping with Variety.

Remaining in second place was “Ticket to Paradise,” which premiered last Friday, and has since taken in only over $3.1 million worldwide, in keeping with Collider.

The rom-com, which stars George Clooney and Julia Roberts, marks the A-Listers’ combined global box office take of over $1 billion, which incorporates earnings from their five on-screen collaborations, in keeping with FoxNews.

“Prey for the Devil,” which debuted on Friday, took in $2.8 million. The thriller is slated to usher in $7 million on its opening weekend, expertly timed ahead of Halloween, in keeping with Deadline.

“Smile” is slowly turning right into a frown, and dropped all the way down to fourth place, with near $1.6 million. In fifth place was “Halloween Ends,” which eked in over $1.1 million.
