Microsoft founder Bill Gates and ex-wife Melinda French Gates have each shared snaps of their recent grandchild — individually.
Their granddaughter was born a month ago, with the doting grandparents each sharing pictures that look like taken at different times despite the coordinated timestamps, though it’s unclear in the event that they were photographed in the identical location.
Gates, 67, might be seen holding the infant girl in an lovable snap posted to social media on Thursday morning, captioning it: “I can’t wait to look at you discover the world.”
Meanwhile, French Gates, 57, had her own angle of the infant to share, writing below the image: “There’s nothing like holding your first grandchild.”
“It looks like just yesterday I used to be holding Jenn at this age,” she gushed. “Now she has a baby of her own — and I’m bursting with pride watching her and Nayel step into their recent role as parents”
The Gates’ grandbaby’s name has not yet been publicly revealed.
Melinda and Bill, 66, were together for nearly 30 a long time before divorcing in May 2021. The pair, who married in 1994, share three children together — and now their first grandchild.
Their eldest daughter Jennifer, 26, announced the birth of her child along with her husband, Egyptian pro-equestrian Nayel Nassar, 32, last month in a post on social media, showing only her baby’s feet.
Now, followers are getting a rare glimpse at her tiny, dark-haired head — while her face stays obscured to outsiders.
In 2021, it was revealed Gates had a lengthy affair with a Microsoft worker in 2000, in addition to reportedly asked out several women within the office while he was married.
It’s unclear how much French Gates knew in regards to the affair on the time.
