I would like to see their pay and benefits, then let's talk.
UK has much better benefits than US overall. So let's see it.

Bernie's the one who taught me the first thing we must do is take away the legal bribes the mega-corporations are able to buy our Congress with. Using lobbyists, who are usually failed politicians, to set up, pay off, and take a little cut this happens with every politician, usually resulting in millions for each one. Except for one to two dozen or so Democrats and Independents like Bernie who refuse PAC bribes. Once that is made illegal and Congress doesn't base legislation on the favors they owe from day one to corporations anymore. Maybe they'll again take interest in helping the people like they haven't for 42 years now. The exact amount of time America has had a constantly failing middle class that came off a constant rise from 1945 to 1980.

Bernie is loved in Canada, the UK, Scandinavia, Europe, Australia, New Zealand for what he and these countries see as "common sense" economic policies. But AMERICANS have none of these "common sense" policies that hugely improve the standard of living for these Allies of the U.S.
The great irony is that it was the Marshall Plan to help Western Europe re-build and modernise the infra- structure devastated by WW2 that made it possible for Europeans to leap ahead of the U.S. in providing universal health care, publicly financed higher education, a full month of paid vacation each year, paid sick leave, maternity and/or joint parental leave and superb public transport, guaranteed collective bargaining, etc.
In all of these ways, the U.S. is stuck at the starting gate. Bernie's common sense is enlightened economics. Nowhere in Canada, Europe or ANZAC countries does the Government own the means of production. All of these countries are MIXED ECONOMIES with a strong CAPITALIST BASE. None of these countries is "Marxist".
All have Right Wing Conservative Parties who attempt to bring back monopolistic, unregulated Capitalism but the vast majority of people know how much better life is in a MIXED ECONOMY and they are not prepared to exchange it for American "boom or bust" instability, slave-wage jobs, student loan debt and extortionate medical system. America needs all of these things. It's time to Elect Progressive Dems and Independents who are prepared to move America foward.

There are only a few white people I trust
    Bernie and Jeremy

Everyone else they say "working class" and they mean "poor white people"

From what I've heard about him
    When he says Everyone
    He means Everyone

Black people are tired of being promised stuff and never getting it

Black people are tired of people who claim to fight for us but when the time comes we are the last to be fed if we are fed at all

Black people are tired of relying on white people or politicians

If you're not gonna do it we will do it for ourselves

An that's were the Black separatist come from

You failed us soo many times but when we decided to go our own way it's a problem

    We won't accept abuse forever

And just think, the money that's making them richer, come from the backs of hardworking Americans struggling to make ends meet. No taxation without representation should apply. 🇺🇲

Living legend, and so much heart. If all US citizens had been forced to listen to Joe Rogan's interview with him, he would have captured so many people's heart, also Hillary and Donald would have been (rightfully i believe) sidelined in the Presidential race

Anyhow, unless capitalism becomes inclusive / compassionate it will become more and more ugly. But if we want to keep slaughtering each other across the world every few generations or so, let's keep our blinds on and do what we do best … embrace our animal nature instead of our divine one. ;-(

every person who liked this comment need to really take a hard look and see what actually happens. Presidents do not set prices for anything that the working class buy. Groceries, gas, food, wants and needs. It is a good, something to sell. Even the house you rent is considered a good and to be sold. The very basics of life has become a product to sell and if you cannot afford them you are denied that standard of living. Such as housing, and gas. Which private owners who own those said things control the pricing. The free market, capitalism. If they could sell you air…. they would.
