I'm so used to hearing sound bytes, lies, and hot air that hearing this inspirational man speak truth from the heart came as a shock. Way to go, Bernie ! 😄

Bernie is an old man. If he was not as senile as he actually is, he would realize, that the age of the oligarches is not over. It has just begun. And this is true in the US (where the next president very likely is the same as the last one, and who can certainly be called an oligarche) and in the UK, where the working class electorate is stupid enough to vote for people calling them the worst idlers in the world and billionaires like JRM and Sunak.

  4. Bruce VAIR-TURNBULL says:

I can see why this guy never got a sniff at the White House. He uses complete sentences and provides statistics to support his assertions. People just turn off. Nixon (biggest fraud ever) started it under Eisenhower. The CIA endorsed it all. Hopeless.

  5. Joanna Hammond says:

I love everything he is saying but it's rather unusual for an American Senator to be interfering in a UK matter.

  6. Nigel Town says:

Bernie is either being intentionally blind, or stupid – how can he not know that the economy was driven to these outcomes by decades of Neoliberalism, set in train under Regan, in the US and Thatcher here in the UK. The billionaires didn't get their billions by accident, worker rights were not torn up on a whim – every major policy, for over four decades, was shaped and implemented to get us to HERE. It is not a secret, Bernie must know what has been, is, going on.

Love Bernie, so sad to see the Dems shaft him every time he tries to make a run for president. 😔

At least Bernie S is prepared to support the workers, not like a certain leader of a so-called 'left' party… Go there and thanks to Politics Joe for posting.

He's right on pretty much every issue. Including those that the hard communist left get wrong like nato, democracy, and foreign policy. A great figure.

Here in Denmark unions are becoming more and more unpopular. Especially Young people Think everybody is to stand up and fight for yourself. And it seems like unions have become more employer-friendly. Many people are still in “very good shape” here in Denmark. They have never experienced poverty and a country without socialdemocratic welfare State conditions and also Think all this is something that is automatically given to you. That it comes by itself. It does not!!!!! Very slowly We are being more and more neo-liberalized but people cannot see this and have not realized that The welfare State is more and more undermined. The middleclass is not aware that they have been usefull idiots and in a short time they will shrink as a class – just like Bernie S explained, They just have not realized that yet. Greetings from Copenhagen. Would like to have Bernie talk in Denmark too♥️

And to think, America passed up on coherent progression for a reactionary and then decided to vote for the low bar status quo when it didn't work out. Bit like us here but then again, 99.7% of us didn't have the 'privilege' of picking our new PM.

We are lucky that Bernie has a world view. The workers of the world need to be better connected to pressure the governments to redistribute the wealth.

What about Klaus Schwab's WEF and the fact this globalist empire has infiltrated every political positions of power possible with control over every major decision being made??

  26. Ant Perry says:

yippy yap yap… nothing but words and platitudes and then he goes and supports Biden plus all DNC policies anyway including the biggest upward transfer of wealth ever and increased military budgets. Bernie broke my heart because it turns out he's the same as the rest of them. Gutless fake.

  27. Callum Mullans says:

Workers, customers and people dependant on services are all devalued due to sectors being dominated by “the few” to feed their own greed/ personal ambitions but also by individuals that fail people, too affirmed by their role or resigned.

Bernie Sanders for the fucking win. As always Bernie held it down. It saddens me that there isn't anyone in office in the UK that could give a speech this good

  39. Hudson Donnell says:

Burnme Slanders is a lying Marxist. Oligarchs are the product of Socialism. The Proletariat is full of fools. The Politburo is full of extortionists and liars. The Forbes Billionaire List is made up entirely of oligarchs extorted by the Proletariat and insured by taxes from the 2nd Pillar of Communism, a highly graduated Progressive Income Tax. The Welfare State has different uses to smokescreen the corruption and self-service of the Politburo. You can finance failure and laziness or you can insure the wealthy industrialists as they manufacture the accoutrements of technology that are used to enslave the producing working class in a Secular-Humanist Socialist society.

  40. Simon MacLardie says:

Agreed of course that the middle class should have a decent standard of living. But that must come with responsibility not to destroy the planet. Pakistan is now 30% under water. 47C in California last week. Climate emergency is here and it will be coming to us too. So a decent standard of living should not mean you can buy endless crap without consequences. Does not mean you can fly to a sunny holiday once or twice a year without consequences. We need better public amenities and transport we can all share and less personal ownership if we are to create a survivable future for the next generations.
