
A US TikToker who allegedly has been secretly filming women across Sydney and uploading the videos to social media is now being investigated by NSW Police.
Sayed or @itspolokid has 1.2 million followers on Instagram and 1 million followers on TikTok and uploads videos of him “picking up” women.
He has recently been filming in Melbourne and Sydney, uploading videos of the ladies without their consent.
The ladies who’ve been approached and filmed by Sayed say they weren’t told they were being videoed, with Sayed using Meta Rayban smart glasses to secretly film their reactions.
In one in every of the videos – which is captioned “Hitting on beauties in Bondi Beach! #confident”.
Sayed approaches a lady who’s wearing a bikini on the sand along with her friend.
“You might be very f***ing beautiful. I such as you,” he tells the girl after introducing himself.
“I’m in love along with your friend.”
He leaves after he tells him she is married.
“Very presumptuous,” she tells him.
Tahnaya Jae, who was secretly filmed by Sayed in Kings Cross, told news.com.au she was blocked after she asked him to take the video down.
The video, which shows Sayed asking Ms. Jae for her number before she walks away, now has 545,000 views.
“I got off easy in comparison with among the other girls. He knows any such thing shouldn’t be okay. He wouldn’t have blocked me otherwise. Total power trip,” she said.
Ms. Jae said she had no idea she was being filmed because the smartglasses he wears looks exactly like normal RayBan sunglasses.
“I’ve seen among the girls asking him to take their video down, but he’s ignoring and blocking them too,” she said.
“The way in which among the other girls are being bullied within the comments section breaks my heart.”
Sayed’s behavior also led to a social media warning on Bondi’s community page by resident Louise McFadden.
“There was a man approaching women on the beach, on the road, mainly anywhere deemed public space across the entire eastern suburbs … filming women without their consent after they are caught off guard,” the post said.
“He appears friendly enough, nonetheless, what these women don’t know is that their bodies, faces and reactions are being recorded and for a few of them, posted to his 1.2 million followers on Instagram and TikTok.”
Ms. McFadden said one in every of the ladies posted only came upon she had been filmed when a friend from the UK sent her the video.
“That’s how wide and pervasive the spread of this content is,” she said.
Illegally recording someone without consent in NSW can carry as much as 5 years imprisonment.
In a press release to news.com.au, NSW Police said they were aware of the content after one in every of the ladies reported the incident.
“Police have commenced an investigation into an alleged breach of the Listening Devices Act committed at Bondi on Friday 7 February 2025,” the statement said.
