He said it’s a “big day” as the parliament gets the chance to vote for action on climate change.

“These policies will create jobs and investment,” Mr Bowen told Sky News Australia.

“Even if we didn’t have that obligation, it would be good for the country, good for our national security, good for our economy to act on climate change.”

    Bowen says :
"To hell with the consequences, labor is here to put a trillion dollars into the coffers of China in exchange for redundant unusable green technology". He went on to say "we hold ourselves accountable" WTF does that mean ? Does it mean ‐ labor is poised to roll over people's lives with an excavator and in our judgement that's a good thing

There will not be any scientifically demonstrable and significant impact until humans have completed a global scale roll-out of fusion reactors and there are massive CO2 capturing plants in operation and the only reason they will be run is to provide hydrocarbons to the market rather than using ones of fossil origen. i.e When we have the power production capability to have a closed cycle economy then that is what we will do and nothing else before that point will make a significant material (and positive) difference. Everything can be recycled and was can already fabricate things automatically at the nanoscale it is just that these processes are prohibitivly energy expensive. This can only change when we combine Fusion Power, AGI, Nanofabrication and Biocybernetics toward the end of this century. All efforts that are a sideshow to this technological development vector are a futile waste of wealth and effort that should go into the main game.

What a waste ot time and money, this does not need to be introduced to parlement . If Labor want to be accountable, set the target for this term and the next, explain to the voters when you dont make them. Like the cost of living was going down, inflation at record highs since Airbus Albo took over.

So Australia is smarter than Germany. They wasted $580 Billion on renewables that did not work reliably , and are going back to fossil fuels , so this idiot knows better and cannot learn the lesson presented before him. God help us. Also , 3 out of 10 primary votes is no Mandate boy.

Manuel the Messiah on his Donkey Chris Electric Hey-suss (electric Jesus) of Faulty Powers. If he was trying to sell you solar panels – or electric cars – you would run away.

This guy will rave on about this like he is a genius. When in fact he has little minions who work for him, filling his head full of S***.

Let's fast forward when all this stuff is out there – and it fails – and the suppliers wont be around to give back up support when these green toys, poopy in their pants.

Then let's see if they put Electric Hey-suss on the cross. Love a good crucifixion, don't you.

The West is turning the taps off on gas, oil, coal, etc. In Australia you can add Nuclear to that list. All the while without having a definitive, workable, viable and effective replacement ready to go now otherwise this WILL end in disaster! 101 business. You DO NOT restructure your business model without having EVERYTHING READY TO GO at a moments notice.
You have years to find new markets, new tech, new investors, but NO, let's do it now! In the interim, what happens to the people that gave you this job with extraordinary pay rates to know and understand this extremely basic concept.
You are either ALL insanely STUPID or there's something else going on here, something very nefarious…. I'm really hoping its stupidity, that way they can hopefully see it pretty quick and wait till they actually have something viable and workable ready to go.
