Angel Reese wasn’t so concerned with personal stats on Thursday night.
The WNBA rookie superstar set a Chicago Sky franchise record for many offensive rebounds (120) in a single season within the team’s 85-65 loss to the Phoenix Mercury.
But when a reporter asked about it after the sport, Reese was not having it.
“I do know you care rather a lot more in regards to the results than records but you set one other record today,” the journalist attempted to ask, in line with the Each day Mail.
Before he could finish the thought, Reese had jumped in to chop him off.
“No, I don’t wish to hear about no record today,” Reese quickly interjected before the question-asker could even finish the thought.

Reese continued her stellar rookie campaign on Thursday night despite the loss, grabbing her 18th double-double of the season, which leads the WNBA.
She posted 11 points and 15 rebounds, but shot just 4-for-14 from the sphere.
Reese did placed on a formidable display on one shot where she caught a high inbounds pass early in the sport and was capable of hit a shot off quickly while drawing the foul.

Nevertheless, despite her personal record, Reese was more curious about discussing the Mercury and the respect she holds for Brittney Griner.
“She’s a terrific player, really efficient tonight,” Reese said. “Just having the ability to follow the sport plan was something we didn’t do.”
Reese and the Sky had been going into the break on a high as they toppled the defending WNBA champion Las Vegas Aces, but weren’t capable of come out for the second half of the season with the identical fervor.
Chicago is within the thick of the playoff picture, sitting in eighth place with a 10-15 record and a pair of 1/2 games ahead of the ninth-place Atlanta Dream.
