Andrey Rublev couldn’t control his temper yet again during his first-round match at Wimbledon against Francisco Comesana.
The Russian began violently smashing his racket on his knee after his return went out of play in the course of the third set of the match.
The outburst began almost immediately because the ball went out of bounds, and Rublev hit the racket against his knee, causing some injury to his body.
Rublev never was capable of regain his composure after the moment and he went on to lose the match 6-4, 5-7, 6-2, 7-6 (5).
After the match, Rublev said he hit the equipment on his knee because there’s a rule against damaging the grass at Wimbledon.
“I wouldn’t do it if I used to be capable of hit the racket on the ground,” he told reporters. “Because we’re not allowed to hit it on the grass.. so I don’t know.. at that moment I couldn’t take it anymore. I needed to let emotions out. But thanks. All the things is tremendous.”
The newest outburst got here a month after he had the same outburst in the course of the French Open when he smashed a racket on his knee while also kicking a metal bench and screaming in frustration.
