Amazon just announced it is purchasing the primary care provider One Medical for roughly $3.9 billion making it the company’s third-largest acquisition behind Whole foods, and MGM. NBC News’ Joshua Johnson is joined by associate professor of marketing at Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business Christie Nordhielm to discuss the all-cash deal.

This is a huge downfall for seeing a doctor in that area! F. Amazon. So much for Privacy and treatment!
I recently bought a rollator through Amazon, after United Healthcare was not only 0 help but ate up a ridiculous amount of time. Changed my thinking.
Just because you buy something doesn't necessarily mean it's for your use. So trying to correlate the data with your health profile is going to be sticky at best.
They're going to put patients on a conveyor belt that goes past the doctor. Whatever the doctor can do as you go by- that's what you get.

Give me affordable healthcare and I have no problem giving you my DNA sample.
Monopoly of Amazon growing even bigger, Bezos will decide how people live by paying only Amazon.

This made me think of the brilliant and unfortunately prophetic movie "Idiocracy" by Mike Judge where a not particularly bright average-Joe soldier is put into an experimental suspended animation experiment and forgotten about and when he finally wakes up 500 years later society has dumbed down so much that, after many mishaps, people ultimately realize he's the smartest person in the world. The whole movie is worth watching but at least check out the clips on YouTube titled "Hospital computer interface of the future – Idiocracy" and "Idiocracy – Future Hospital Visit"

Don't trust it… just like if you view something for too long the price sudden't change nd goes up making you think you need to buy it before it goes up again, but is you wait or delete it out of your cart it will suddenly drop in price. It seems there is some shadiness in the price point when the "demand" is up bc you viewed an item too many times. Be more observant and you'll see the shady practice. Even the search items will turn my and "AMAZON" branded items first. They have machine learning alright, learns your behavior and what will make you click to buy and a above average price point. I feel like this will learn what is in the highest demand for persriptons and then jack up the price on the popular item.

I work at Amazon and nothing special but let me tell you theyr health insurance is some of the best in the country.
Very horrible for the people. Amazon doesn't ever approve of health care treatments for people as it is. This is only a way to steal people's money while offering the bare minimum of health-care services. Do not purchase any health care subscription from Amazon you will be robbed. I know first hand. My surgeries have been denied multiple times and this company left me crippled. Don't be fooled by this evil greedy company.
