Former NATO Supreme Allied Commander Admiral James Stavridis and Politico White House Bureau Chief Jonathan Lemire join Andrea Mitchell to discuss the addition of Finland and Sweden to the NATO alliance, and Putin’s threat of moving troops to counter the expansion. “Those are Russian troops no longer available for his increasingly flailing operation in Ukraine, so, huge plus with the Finns and the Swedes,” says Stavridis. “This is all about defense and deterrence. And in that sense, it’s a very good day for NATO.”» Subscribe to MSNBC:

Be frank, Finland and Sweden wanted to be NATO members, but were cowed by russia. Now, putin has weakened russia so much that Finland and Sweden know that russia can't do anything aggressive, and by the time putin is out of Ukraine (one way or the other), it's too late. putin blew it.

Give Ukraine missiles that can hit moscow. Let all russians share the pain of putin's war.

The U.S. and NATO must provide Ukraine with EVERY military system and as much munitions, other than nukes, to WIN. This must be done as soon as possible and w/a sense of great URGENCY. This should be sooooo freak'n obvious. Whatever they are doing isn't fast enough.

Fitting that the expansion and strengthening of NATO is being accomplished immediately after TFG tried to destroy it to help putin. Once again Biden succeeds where TFG failed. All the trolls are crying 😢😭.

Donald Trump Suggests Nuclear War 'More Likely To Happen Than Not'

    NEWSWEEK
BY EWAN PALMER ON 5/24/22 AT 6:57 AM EDT

Donald Trump has suggested nuclear war is "more likely to happen than not" for the United States because of President Joe Biden.

His comments follow Biden indicating the U.S. military would defend Taiwan if China, a major nuclear power, attacked the island—remarks the White House insisted were not a policy change—and as NATO indirectly helps Ukraine defend itself from Russia, which has the largest stockpile of nuclear warheads in the world.

    It's very good 👍 advice from :
Former U.S. secretary of state Henry A. Kissinger said that Ukraine 🇺🇦 should cede territory to Russia 🇷🇺 to help end ⌛ the invasion 🪂🚁.

My hate for Putin and Russia has reached a point where I hope they make the misstake to invade a NATO country. I would love to see the 32 NATO countries wipe out Russia, just like the allies wiped out Nazi-Germany. Russia would likely thrive into a prospoerous democratic country with happy citizens if they got rid of communism and dictatorship.

Without the advice and participation of the United Kingdom and the United States, Ukraine would not have been able to mock and terrorize the civilian population of Donbass for eight years, starve them. Ukraine would not be able to cut off the water supply to Crimea without the support of the West and expect people to die of thirst…

Georgia Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene recently argued that she felt the U.S. should leave NATO to avoid a conflict with Russia.
On Wednesday evening, Greene took to her Twitter account to share a Wall Street Journal article reflecting on the increasing tension between the U.S. and Russia following Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
She also warned that she believed the U.S. could be dragged into a conflict with Russia if things continued as they are.
"The American people do not want war with Russia, but NATO and our own foolish leaders are dragging us into one," she tweeted alongside the article. "A war that no one will win. Escalation over Ukraine, a non-member nation, risking nuclear war is a power-play endangering the entire world. We should pull out of NATO."..

it was a big mistake from nato to accept finland and sweden's applications. nato is just a blckmailing organization. and, last, only country who has clear mind is turkey. i really hope that turkey will blocked both memberships, regardless, whatever other countries do.

If the west and Europe had leadership like a great leader they could hit Russia and china rather then wait on there next moves it's so bad they see Biden administration as weak so we knew this was coming.

We welcome russian troops back to our border. There is no-one but stray dogs and couple customs officials there at the moment. Drunken half squad of Finn conscripts stumbling toward kaserne could accidentally conquer St Petersburg.
