Like an excellent neighbor, State Farm was there for Aaron Rodgers, but after over a decade, their endorsement partnership together quietly ended after the 2022 NFL season and only got here to light on Tuesday.

Kurt Badenhausen of Sportico reported the 2 parties went their separate ways, and Rodgers’ final State Farm business aired in January in the course of the NFL playoffs.

Rodgers starred in ads for the insurance company since 2011, and his championship belt touchdown celebration had turn out to be synonymous with him on the sector and with State Farm’s Discount Double Check.

Rodgers, now the Jets starting quarterback, earned $3 million a yr from the State Farm endorsement deal that lasted 12 years, in response to Sportico.

It was certainly one of the Most worthy endorsement deals for an NFL player.

“We wish Aaron the most effective in his future endeavors,” a State Farm spokesperson told Sportico.

Rodgers first appeared in ads for the insurer in 2011 and since then he has appeared in spots with an eclectic mixture of Clay Matthews, Dana Carvey, Randall Cobb, Patrick Mahomes, dogs and “Jake from State Farm.”

The Discount Double Check ads remain probably the most popular spots that Rodgers, then the Packers’ quarterback, appeared in.

State Farm had remained behind Rodgers in 2021 when the NFL star found himself facing criticism over his stance on not being vaccinated against COVID-19.

While the corporate didn’t agree along with his position, it didn’t drop him despite the backlash.

“Aaron Rodgers has been an excellent ambassador for our company for much of the past decade,” the corporate said on the time. “We don’t support a few of the statements that he has made, but we respect his right to have his own personal standpoint.”

The corporate did in the reduction of on the variety of ads that ran which featured him, but Rodgers returned in 2022 for a latest batch of spots that ran in the course of the NFL season.

The insurance company does still have an endorsement agreement with Mahomes.

Rodgers was traded to the Jets within the offseason and can make his debut with the team on Saturday during a preseason tilt at MetLife Stadium against the Giants.
