Former White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney says he thinks Donald Trump is probably going to run for president again in 2024.
Mr Mulvaney’s remarks come after the FBI raided the former US president’s Mar-a-Lago home in Florida, where ‘top secret’ documents were seized.
“It is garnering President Trump some sympathy in some circles,” he told Sky News Australia.
“And I think it actually makes it more likely that he’s going to run and less likely that some of the names you and I have thrown around in the past will run against him.”
