Taylor Swift… offensive coordinator?
Patrick Mahomes seems to think there’s a probability.
No less than, that’s what he said in a recent interview with former pro and current NFL on NBC analyst Chris Simms.
Swift, in line with Mahomes, isn’t the common football fan and has really gotten contained in the huddle — so to talk — as her relationship with the star quarterback’s fellow Chiefs star, Travis Kelce, has grown.
“I feel it’s been cool to see the ladies and the ladies which have really embraced watching football,” Mahomes on Swift. “I do know, being a lady dad, how cool it’s for me to see like these little girls — these daughters — and the way much they’re loving to spend time with their dad, watching football.”
Mahomes added, “After which meeting Taylor, realizing how real and funky she is. I feel that’s been special to me because she’s, such as you said, essentially the most big name on the planet, she couldn’t be (real). And he or she’s really excited about football, and he or she asks a number of great questions. Began drawing up plays. We might need to place one in.”
Andy Reid’s open-minded.
The Chiefs head coach has, as reported by the Kansas City Star, been known for allowing players to design their very own plays and running with them in actual games if he liked the decision enough.
He even previously pulled something from the 1948 Rose Bowl.
Reid, clearly being open to suggestions, even once used a play design by a janitor.
If Swift could draw up a giant gain, or perhaps a touchdown, it probably wouldn’t be all that surprising if Reid and the Chiefs use it.
