One more story about Michael Jordan’s legendary sports betting habits has emerged.
On his “Games With Names” podcast, former Latest England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman make clear a hilarious interaction with the NBA legend ahead of Super Bowl 49 in 2015 against the Seattle Seahawks.
“The week before Super Bowl 2014, I took my folks to dinner, and I roll up, and I see Derek Jeter and Michael Jordan. I used to be super starstruck,” Edelman said throughout the episode. “I’m about to play within the Super Bowl, and I’m going up, and you possibly can tell Jeter is a really charming guy, welcoming. ‘Mr. Jeter, Julian Edelman, I’m playing within the Super Bowl.’”
“I saw Jordan. He was form of, like, standoffish a little bit bit. And as soon because the conversation’s about to finish, like five minutes in, I’m about to go away, Jordan comes as much as me.
