Australia’s east coast has been battered by heavy rain in recent weeks, with close to 50,000 people in the Sydney area forced to evacuate the area as of Tuesday due to flooding. It’s not the only region battling extreme weather, as dry weather sets off wildfires in Spain and heavy rains pelt southern China.
