It’s a birthday fit for royalty – literally.
On Sunday, Prince Harry, 38, and 41-year-old Meghan Markle’s youngest child, daughter Lilibet ‘Lili’ Diana Mountbatten-Winsdor, turned two – and in keeping with a royal expert, her party might be an “all-American affair.”
“I might expect to see a sprinkling of celebrities and a laid-back party, which hopefully will include another toddlers,” royal expert and journalist Jennie Bond told OK! Magazine UK, in keeping with The Each day Mail.
“It could be nice to think the day might include a video call to Lilibet’s grandfather, King Charles and hopefully some kind of gift has been arranged and might be delivered to Montecito for her birthday,” she continued.
The Post reached out to reps for Prince Harry and Markle for further comment.
Lilibet was born in Santa Barbara, California – where the couple moved after deciding to exit royal life.
Prince Harry and Markle even have a son together, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, 4, who was born in London.
Archie was born on May 6, which just happened to fall on coronation day this 12 months, where King Charles was officially crowned after the death of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, this past September on the age of 96.
Prince Harry is claimed to have only stayed for just 24 hours in the UK to attend the ceremony, reportedly racing back home to get back in time for his son’s birthday.
He sat within the third row through the grand ceremony at Westminster Abbey, as there have been some mounting tensions between him and his family through the past few years, especially following the January release of his tell-all memoir, “Spare.”
During a personal family gathering after the coronation ceremony, Archie’s grandfather, King Charles, reportedly gave a toast to wish the four-year-old a glad birthday “wherever he was.”
Since being born, Lilibet has only been to the UK once, in keeping with Harpers Bazaar, for the celebrations surrounding the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
Last 12 months, the couple hosted Lilibet’s first celebration at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor – a bash that sources dubbed as “relaxed” and “informal.”
“It was a beautiful do and had every little thing you’d expect from a baby’s celebration,” a source told The Sun on the time.
“But there was no formal entertainment. The thought was for it to be very relaxed and casual, with people free to pop out and in as they wished.”
The family was allegedly joined by Harry’s first cousin Zara Tindall’s three children – Mia, 8, Lena, 3, and Lucas, 1 – and his other first cousin Peter Phillips’ daughters, Savannah, 11, and Isla, 10.
Lilibet blew out her candles on a light-pink frosted cake adorned with large white-and-pink peonies to match.
The cake was baked by Claire Ptak, who also made the couple’s May 2018 wedding cake.
But that wasn’t the one celebration for the tot this 12 months – on March 3, Prince Harry and Markle hosted an intimate christening for Lilibet at their home in Montecito, California.
The royal family was not in attendance.
One insider revealed that there have been about 20 to 30 guests on the small gathering, and after the ceremony, they celebrated with a meal and a day of dancing.
Amongst those that reportedly attended were Lilibet’s godfather, filmmaker Tyler Perry, an anonymous godmother, in addition to Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland.
The actor has been friends with Harry and Meghan for years and even invited them to stay at his $18 million abode after they first got here to the US in 2020.
