Say goodbye to summer.
Nice fall weather will descend on the Big Apple this week with cool, crisp temperatures within the low 60s for the primary time in months, forecasters said Wednesday.
“We’ll see a cooler pattern again that’s going to be more fall-like and cozy,” FOX Weather meteorologist Dylan DeBruyn told The Post. “We haven’t seen temperatures like this since mid- to late June.”
Thursday — which marks the last official day of summer in Latest York — is forecast to be stormy with a high of 73 degrees before a chilly front from the Great Lakes blows into town.
An autumn-like chill will hit town Friday with sunny highs within the low 60s and lows within the mid-50s, DeBruyn said.
Temperatures are expected to extend by Saturday with overcast highs within the high 60s or low 70s.
But a wave of hot and humid weather could still rear its head later this month, DeBruyn warned.
“In September and October we are likely to see big fluctuations — so we’ll see,” DeBruyn said.
