She is going against the constitution, Supreme Court, and New York residents! Her only excuse is that she’s trying to make New York safer! She’s failing at her excuse and abusing her position! She wasn’t even voted in! She must go!

In America there is no law that prevents mass shootings, there are way too many guns in the streets to prevent these shootings. it is too late. These new laws will not make it worst. Please educate yourself in this matter. Unfortunately mass Shooting will happen not because of the laws we have. You can make having guns illegal right now and there will be a mass shooting that same day. it is not going to make it harder for someone who has made his or her mind of committing one. Heroin is Illegal and how many people die from heroin a year? people still sells it and people still use it and die from it. The only option we have is to have one to perhaps at least protect your self if need it be.

Tourists? These law changes make no difference in regard to people from out of state or even people who live in the state but not NYC being able to carry there.
The state of New York doesn't recognize concealed carry permits from any other state first of all. As i understand you must have a specifically New York City issued permit to carry anywhere in NYC. So even if you live in the state of New York and have a permit issued from your county, its not valid in the five counties that make up NYC. Only exception is if you have a NYC issued permit it's accepted statewide.
Some states recognize concealed permits issued to people from other states, but in many cases they don't. There is no one state issued concealed carry permit that allows you to carry in all 50 states that I'm aware of.
I know the laws are complex but I really wish people would look into these things before they speak on them. All it does is further confuse everyone and get people freaked out and worried about things that already are illegal.

New York is now being sued for violation of the US Constitution and Bruin decision. New York Tyrant Governor does not get to make the Rules when it comes to anything that violates the US Constitution and 2nd Amendment which is a 100% Non changeable Guaranteed RIGHT. SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED!!!! They have no power over the people who out number them by the millions…

Well, given the recent stabbing spree, its also obvious all such implements should be immediately siezed and outlawed too.

  14. Janrey Siano says:

Man. These people or comedians… they're just making it a target practice for criminals. Sadge

  15. Eric Elf says:

There's a governor that wants to be a dictator and to protect the criminals, at the same time taking away the right for honest law-abiding citizens to protect themselves and their families. What a bunch of communist democratic malarkey. These Democrats should be tried for treason in trying to strip away the second amendment rights given to the United States citizens by the constitution. As others are saying, wake up and notice that there is a mass Exodus from New York and California and other communist inspired government cesspools.

  16. Paul Harris says:

New York is a rogue state. This new state law is blatantly unconstitutional and contrary to the recent Supreme Court ruling. In addition to violating the 2nd Amendment rights of citizens it violates their 1st, 4th and 5th Amendment rights.

  17. Paul Harris says:

This assemblemen basically said you have to give up your 1st, 4th and 5th Amendment rights to exercise your 2nd Amendment rights. The courts have said no to that.

  18. Hue says:

We need to curtail your constitutional rights…as we have done previously.

Who wants to bet my $10k this time next year there will be more gun related deaths in NY. We can put money in an escrow to be paid this time next year. Any takers?

  21. James Burns says:

Not to mention that at least 4 million times a year the mere presence of a gun in the hand of a law-abiding citizen stops a crime. 😉😇🙎🛑

"We already have a problem with gun violence here in NYC and all this does is allow potential victims a means to defend themselves."

As a Governor her rights are to follow the Constitution of the United States of America when she swore the oath and serve the Citizens of NYS. Emphasis on the word (SERVE!)

  32. Frankie Gaul says:

  33. MARIA SANTANA says:

the new laws were already ruled unconstitutional ,, this will never hold up in court– just watch !!

  34. Saibhreas LLC says:

They always get some anti gun commentator to speak about gun laws , there's no common sense in NY and he says we need more common sense gun laws

  35. Chris Harger says:

Wrong. It is a Governor's duty to protect their residents, not a right. It is also their duty to not strip away someone's second amendment rights.
