I heard that it's spread through "super happy fun time". If this is true, then just don't "have fun" for awhile and you should be fine.

If it's 98% due to gay anal and oral sex, why isn't there a law, making those acta illegal since it's endangering the world's societies. Why isn't gay sex illegal immediately to instantly stop the spread?

The spread of the Monkey Pox in the gay comminity, and the stories in the media that all of the affected so far are gay is giving a new impetus for the haters to start agitation against the rights that have been achieved in the last 40 years. I would not be surprised if the Supreme Court ends legal recognition of same-sex marriage, as it did with the recent decision regarding abortion. I fear that it will also lead to violence against gay people.
