Does it seem like this has been planned again? Does it seem like they have gotten together in the back room and decided to give Weisselberg a jaw-dropping sweet deal where he gets just a couple of months jail time and a fine which amounts to only the money that they can absolutely prove he screwed the IRS out of (he has undoubtedly done a bunch of stuff they know nothing about). He also does not have to implicate his fellow thugs, so what is the aim here, unless it is to derail the investigation and cause minimal damage to the Trump organization? CNN having Michael Cohen on and lending him credence is EXACTLY the same as blacks, or Evangelicals, or Jews, or any group exploited and used by trump getting behind and supporting him. They set aside their basic beliefs and they close their eyes to his true, on the record, feelings towards them in favor of what they believe he might do for them. They ignore unbelievably(!) obvious lies ("why won't you name your favorite book of the Bible") because he's fooled them into believing he supports their cause.
