Many thanks for a far cooler outlook Alex, well, nothing like we've had at least. Such a relief to have some rain, more to know, but I'm not at all bothered about that. Lovely to see you back see

If there is even a 0.000000001% chance of it getting to over 35 degrees Celsius; you can be assured that is WILL get even hotter than that.

Rancid heat so dangerous to health.

  20. grace says:

I don’t think I can physically cope with more heat.. just want some cool fresh air so I can feel like I’m breathing clean air!

  21. bluevozhak says:

It better get cool and stay that way, begrudge none of the sun worshipers about 25 C with a cool night. I prefer nothing over 10 C but can't have it all. Last 2 days were brutal.

  22. Richard says:

"Not expecting it to be 40C+ next week " – duh! Before Monday and Tuesday, 31C would be considered "heatwave". I presume it's not any more! So if you think it's hot – that must be you! Lastly, what I didn't want to see, "less rainfall in the South". We are borderline in drought!

Some great info about how the computer model runs work, mid-'20s is great but some rain is badly needed everywhere more or less, it's such a tinderbox still 🙁

  37. obiwan raven says:

one day of 40 degrees is enough. its been in the 30's here for the last month or more. sadly a lot of people did lose their homes

  38. josoapification says:

I live in the north of Ireland. We are lucky not to get high temperatures but you cannot get essential work at home done when you are off work because it rains nearly every day rain on rain off. Has been our summer. It’s the wettest summer i can remember.

  39. TheBulletin says:

25 to 30 doesnt feel like a UK heatwave any more. Not after experiencing 40 C. 🙄😄
