Glad weve got rain but is the pattern gonna get same as last year mid country for the whole of August! Thats what last year. Last term working at school lovely…break up August grey grey and more grey skies…thats all we serm to get here morecthan anything. Little sunshine little rain and grey grey skies!

"the South" only seems to mean the south east.. seems like those in the west don't count which is a surprise with the met office based in Devon.

August can often be a very wet month.
Those weather fronts have consistently missed Fife ever since March.
Based on this, my forecast says that it's very likely camping trip coming next week and maybe following week too. 🙂

Really desperate for some dry and warm weather.. continual rain and mid to late teen temperatures driving me to distraction.

So what the met office are saying is summer dose not come back untill nxt August. In summer we should not be on the cool side of the jet stream
we've had no rain for weeks in Essex/east of London, trees are dying off on the tops, young trees are dead, hedges are dying, grass is the whitest i have ever seen. it's extraordinary it gets very little mention just how dry it has been
