It’s been a dry summer so far, especially for the south and southeast of England. Is there any significant rain expected in the next 10 days? Met Office meteorologist Aidan McGivern has the 10 Day Trend.

    Glad weve got rain but is the pattern gonna get same as last year mid country for the whole of August! Thats what last year.     "the South" only seems to mean the south east.. seems like those in the west don't count which is a surprise with the met office based in Devon.

    So what the met office are saying is summer dose not come back untill nxt August. In summer we should not be on the cool side of the jet stream

    we've had no rain for weeks in Essex/east of London, trees are dying off on the tops, young trees are dead, hedges are dying, grass is the whitest i have ever seen. it's extraordinary it gets very little mention just how dry it has been
